3. Liga Soccer Betting Tips (8th matchday)

Seven match days have been completed in the third division and with TSV 1860 Munich and Hansa Rostock, two teams are at the top of the table, which many experts saw as promising promotion candidates even before the start. Behind them, however, are two newcomers, SC Verl and 1. FC Saarbrücken, who are preparing to be a positive surprise. Of course, the game year is still in its infancy and within a few rounds, even bigger changes in the table are possible.

That is also the hope of the false starters, whose circle is mixed. Newcomers VfB Lübeck could be expected in the table cellar as well as SV Meppen after a personal bloodletting. 1. FC Magdeburg, who managed to stay up late last season, actually wanted to go to higher regions and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, which is far behind with just four points from seven games, wanted to make the next attempt take them to the 2nd Bundesliga. What is not there can still be done, but the people of Palatinate should not allow themselves too much time for the trend reversal, especially since the means of changing coaches, which is often used in times of crisis, has already been used without a significant upturn. Below we will take a look at three games of the eighth game day, in which both the upper and the lower third of the table play a role.

Waldhof Mannheim vs 1. FC Magdeburg Soccer Betting Tips

Losses against Hansa Rostock (1: 2) and most recently at FC Bayern Munich II (0: 2) made SV Waldhof Mannheim’s very good start with seven points in five games to a rather mixed start. A third defeat in a row should now be avoided as much as possible because in the worst case it would even threaten a fall to a relegation zone. It was clear to everyone in Mannheim that the season would not be easy after not only coach Bernhard Trares but also several regulars left the club in the summer. The first few weeks under the new coach Patrick Glöckner started well, but now it is important to stop the negative dynamics that are beginning.

The same goal is pursued by 1. FC Magdeburg, which only has four points from seven games. After Thomas Hoßmang became a saviour after the restart in the summer, the trainer is already under a lot of pressure and, according to reports, can no longer allow himself many defeats. Also, because the 2-0 win against Türkgücü Munich on matchday five did not bring the hoped-for upswing, but instead was lost twice at SC Verl (1: 3) and against SV Wehen Wiesbaden (1: 2), it would be a good performance including points in Mannheim of enormous importance in order not to let the already smouldering unrest really break out. If things go wrong again, Hoßmang could also see the suspension of the veteran Jürgen Gjasula Sören Bertram, which was pronounced on Tuesday, fall on his feet.

It is not unlikely that a nervous encounter will develop between two insecure teams. We see Mannheim in a slightly better position and tend to expect a home win.

TSV 1860 Munich vs MSV Duisburg Soccer Betting Tips

The 1: 2 home defeat the weekend before last showed that TSV 1860 Munich is not immune from setbacks. The Munich Lions, however, showed a strong reaction with their 2-0 win in the derby at SpVgg Unterhaching on Monday and returned to the top of the table. This now has to be defended against MSV Duisburg and at the same time to make up for the home bankruptcy against Saarbrücken. Coach Michael Köllner’s team definitely has the quality for this and despite the lack of spectators in the stadium on Grünwalder Strasse, Munich-Giesing also has a very helpful euphoria.

The situation is completely different at MSV Duisburg, which gambled away the direct re-promotion in the final spurt of last season and is now on a relegation spot with just five points. However, the zebras are also two games behind due to corona-related cancellations and thus still have trumped up their sleeves. Due to numerous failures, however, the personnel situation is not optimal and the involuntary training break of some actors due to a quarantine does not have a beneficial effect.

With a full cast and in top shape, Duisburg would be able to do everything in Munich. However, the conditions for the MSV are still unfavourable. We, therefore, believe that the lions will keep the three counters.

FC Kaiserslautern vs Hansa Rostock Soccer Betting Tips

Together with VfB Lübeck, 1. FC Kaiserslautern is the only third division team that has not yet won a win, but of course has completely different demands than the newcomer from the far north. However, the return to the 2nd Bundesliga at the third attempt is now a long way off. After two initial defeats under Boris Schommers, who was subsequently dismissed, the new coach Jeff Saibene ensured certain stability with four draws in a row, but also not a resounding success. The 2: 3 defeat at SV Meppen last weekend was a bitter step backwards and fed the already existing doubts about the quality and mentality of the FCK squad. Against Rostock, the first win of the season is now more or less mandatory in order not to have to focus exclusively on getting out of the table in the coming weeks.

Hansa Rostock got into the season rather slowly with four points from the first three games, but then got ten points from the last four games and set a big exclamation mark with the 5: 1 against Viktoria Köln last Saturday. The team of coach Jens Härtel, whose quality is undisputed and in which the mixture now seems to be right, is becoming more and more one of the top favourites for promotion but has to underpin this standing on the Betzenberg, which of course has its horror in has lost more and more in recent years.

Looking at the performances on the last day of the game, it is difficult to imagine that Rostock will lose in Kaiserslautern. Nothing is impossible, but based on the current impressions of both teams, an away win is the most likely result.

Betting Tips: Rostock wins
